Calling Tom Cruise ‘unimportant’, entertainer Mickey Rourke said in another meeting that he has ‘no regard’ for the Top Gun star since he hasn’t been propelling himself as an entertainer. Rourke, himself an Oscar candidate, ignored the billion-dollar progress of Top Gun: Maverick and said that ‘cash and power’ make no difference to him.

In an arrival on Piers Morgan’s show, Rourke got some information about Cruise, whose all-around effective profession has recently arrived at new levels with Maverick. “That doesn’t mean sh*t to me,” he said.

He added, “The person been doing part likewise for 35 effing years. I got no regard for that. I couldn’t care less about cash or power. I care about… when I watch Al Pacino or Christopher Walken working, or De Niro’s initial work and Richard Harris and Ray Winstone, that is the sort of entertainer I need to be.
