Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band are getting back out and about.
On Tuesday (May 24), the gathering announced that they would embark on their most memorable tour together since the 14-month worldwide River Tour that kicked off in 2016. Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band keep going reconnected to act on Saturday Night Live in December 2020, where they founded live versions of two melodies from their latest studio collection, Letter to You.
“After six years, I anticipate seeing our great and faithful fans next year,” Springsteen said in a press statement. “Once more, I anticipate imparting the stage to the legendary E Street Band. See you out there, next year — and beyond.”
While the U.S. arena dates have yet to be announced, the European arena trek starts in Barcelona, Spain, on April 28, 2023. The planned European stops include Dublin, Paris, Ferrara, Rome, Amsterdam, Landgraaf, Zurich, Düsseldorf, Gothenburg, Oslo, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Vienna, Munich and Monza. Different cities and shows in the U.K. furthermore Belgium will be announced later.
The Boss earlier teased plans for an E Street Band trek during an impression on SiriusXM’s E Street Radio with Jim Rotolo before in March. “We’re getting our performances for touring jointly; we’ll be out there,” Springsteen said. “We expect to be out there this year. I didn’t have the confidence or wanted to take the gamble for my audience that it would have been OK, so we set it aside for a little time. However, we’re dealing with plans to get it all together.”
