The Prince of Wales and his better half, the Duchess of Cornwall, will join the cast of long-running TV cleanser EastEnders for a road party scene to check HM The Queen’s 70 years in the privileged position.
The royal couple shot their appearance jobs when they visited the set in northwest London in March and met individuals from the cast.
The episode will air on British TV on June 2, just a little ways off of the comprehensive vacation end of the week, which will see the UK denoting the Platinum Jubilee.
The BBC has uncovered that different partygoers will be believed to be shocked by the royal couple’s appearance at their own Jubilee road party.
Kellie Bright, who plays bar landlord Linda Carter and will be seen acquainting the royals with the remainder of the cast, told the BBC:
“I recently thought, ‘goodness, they’ve never done anything like this.’ They didn’t actually have the foggiest idea what’s in store, I mean it probably been nerve-wracking for themselves and all the way out of their standard. So I simply trust they delighted in it however much we did.”
Leader maker Chris Clenshaw said he felt “genuinely respected” to have Charles and Camilla show up in “one of EastEnders’ most extraordinary episodes.”
“It was a very unique day that will go down in EastEnders’ set of experiences,” he said.
This isn’t the initial time individuals from the royal family have visited the arrangement of the BBC cleanser. The Queen recently came back in 2001, where she was welcomed by then cast part, Dame Barbara Windsor. The UK PM Boris Johnson has also appeared on the show.
